
OJABO, Ralph Nejeh
Mr. Ojabo is the Senior Partner and the team leader of the Dispute resolution/litigation team, is one of the most skilled and experienced in the field, with over 35 years of active legal practice experience, and has handled some of the most high-profile and intricate cases involving public officers, constitutional law and land disputes.
He sensationally secured the conviction and committal to prison custody of the then EFCC Chairman, Abulrasheed Bawa, in the case of FRN v. Ojuawo in 2022, a feat which has yet to be surpassed in Nigeria. He was part of the Peoples Democratic Party team of Legal practitioners that successfully defended the election petitions following the 2011 general elections in Benue State. He was part of the team of special prosecutors that handled the prosecution of the 2009 Jos crisis offenders on behalf of the Federal Government of Nigeria.
He was also part of the task team of special prosecutors that handled the prosecution of the Bauchi 2010 crisis offenders. He was the special prosecutor that handled the prosecution of the offenders involved in the extra-judicial killing of Mohammed Yusuf, the leader of the Boko Haram sect. He also successfully defended the National Assembly in the celebrated case of the 2018 NGO Bill.
